Livestock with wellbeing first
Rotational grazing, clean housing and attentive animal health keep our cattle, goats and poultry thriving — and the land they depend on regenerating.

About us
The story of Nyaluwe Farms — how a community-centred farm grows food, livelihoods and opportunity in Mzimba District.
Our story
Nyaluwe Farms began with a simple conviction: a farm should feed more than its own family. From the rich soils around Bulala, we set out to raise livestock and grow crops the sustainable way — and to make sure the benefits reach every household around us.
Today the farm is a working model of what community-centred agriculture looks like: healthy animals, fertile fields, fair employment and knowledge shared freely with neighbours.

Sustainability first
For the land and the seasons ahead
Our approach
No shortcuts on soil, animals or people — every practice is chosen to last.
Rotational grazing, clean housing and attentive animal health keep our cattle, goats and poultry thriving — and the land they depend on regenerating.
Crop rotation, intercropping and organic matter management build soil health, so harvests improve season after season without exhausting the fields.
Fair, dependable work and hands-on training mean the farm's success is the community's success — neighbours grow their own skills and incomes alongside us.
Community impact
Every enterprise on the farm is designed to feed back into Bulala — through work, knowledge and shared harvests.
The farm employs community members in day-to-day operations, and its enterprises create wider income opportunities across Bulala.
Practical training in livestock care, sustainable cropping and farm management is offered to community members and visiting groups.
From shared harvests to school and nutrition initiatives, the farm reinvests in the programmes that matter most to its neighbours.
